Founded in 2005, AOGU is a premium apparel manufacturer located in Humen, Dongguan—one of China’s most established apparel manufacturing centers.

These categories require different technical capabilities.

A heavyweight hoodie depends on fabric structure, garment balance, hood shape and rib recovery. A T-shirt requires control over shrinkage, neckline stability, stitching and drape. Yoga leggings and sports bras require stretch, recovery, opacity, support and freedom of movement. Jackets involve more complex construction, trims and functional details.

Cutting Accuracy Creates the Foundation for Consistent Garments

Quality problems are often associated with sewing, but garment consistency begins before the sewing line.

Fabric spreading and cutting affect measurements, garment balance, panel matching and sewing accuracy.

If cut components are inconsistent, sewing operators cannot completely correct the problem later.

AOGU’s cutting operation is organized to support large-scale fabric spreading, cutting and preparation. Depending on the product, controls may include fabric direction, shade separation, pattern placement, spreading condition, cut-panel measurements and bundle identification.

This is particularly important when working with different fabric structures, garment washes, directional surfaces or products requiring accurate panel matching.

By controlling materials and cut components before sewing, we reduce the risk of measurement variation, twisting, mismatched panels and assembly problems during production.

33 Automated Production Lines Supporting Stable Output

Our 33 automated production lines provide the infrastructure required to support both production efficiency and process control.

Automation alone does not create a premium garment. However, when combined with experienced sewing operators, technical standards and continuous QC, it can improve workflow visibility, production organization and consistency.

AOGU employs 830 sewing workers across its production operation.

Our sewing teams work according to the approved sample, measurement specifications and confirmed workmanship requirements. Before full production continues, the initial garments from the production line are checked to confirm construction, measurements, stitching, logo placement, trims and overall appearance.

If a deviation is identified, it can be corrected before the same problem is repeated across a larger quantity.

This connection between the approved sample and the production line is essential.

A sample demonstrates what can be produced once.

A controlled production system demonstrates whether that result can be repeated throughout the order.

Quality Control Before, During and After Production

At AOGU, quality control is not limited to a final inspection table.

By the time a serious problem reaches final inspection, the fabric has already been cut, the production time has already been used and the delivery schedule may already be affected.

For this reason, our quality system includes personnel responsible for pre-production inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection and quality supervision.

AOGU has approximately 150 quality-control and finishing employees supporting the production process.

Pre-Production Quality Confirmation

Before production begins, the relevant product requirements are reviewed.

Depending on the order, the confirmation may cover:

In-Process Quality Inspection

QC personnel continue checking the garments while production is in progress.

In-process inspection may focus on:

Compliance with the approved sample

When a repeated issue is identified, the information is returned to the relevant production team so that the cause can be corrected.

The purpose of in-process QC is not only to identify defective garments. It is to prevent the same defect from continuing through the production order.

Finishing and Final Inspection

After sewing, garments move through the finishing and final quality-control process.

The finishing and QC teams evaluate applicable points such as:

Overall garment appearance

Final measurements

Workmanship

Loose or untrimmed threads

Stains, marks or damage

Logo and decoration quality

Label accuracy

Zipper, snap and drawcord function

Products that do not meet the approved requirements are separated for correction and further inspection. They are not treated as acceptable finished goods simply because production has been completed.

Quality Supervisor Oversight

Quality supervisors monitor the implementation of inspection standards across different production stages.

When a quality problem is found, the responsibility is not only to repair one garment.

The team must also determine:

Why the problem occurred

Whether other garments may be affected

Which production stage caused the problem

What corrective action is required

How the same issue can be prevented

This creates a feedback loop between QC, production, technical development and management.

Every Order Is Independently Inspected by SGS

Internal QC demonstrates how a factory controls its own production.

Independent inspection gives the customer an additional level of verification.

Every AOGU production order is inspected by SGS, an independent third-party inspection company. After inspecting the completed goods, SGS issues an inspection report documenting the findings.

The inspection is conducted according to the applicable customer requirements and agreed inspection standards. It can include product workmanship, measurements, appearance, labels, size and color assortment, packaging, carton quantities and conformity with the approved specifications.

If an order does not meet the agreed acceptance requirements, the relevant products must be reviewed and corrected before shipment approval.

Third-party inspection is not treated as an interruption to our production process.

It is an important part of transparency.

We do not ask customers to rely only on AOGU’s internal statement that an order has passed inspection. SGS gives the customer independent evidence of the condition of the goods before shipment.

In addition, every finished product passes through needle detection before leaving our factory.

Random inspection can evaluate the overall quality level of an order. Needle detection addresses a different product-safety requirement and is applied piece by piece.
